About Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet

Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet is a medication primarily used to treat high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. This condition involves persistently elevated blood pressure in the arteries, which increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The tablet contains a combination of three anti-hypertensive medicines - Amlodipine, Chlorthalidone, and Telmisartan.

Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, works by dilating blood vessels to improve blood flow and increase oxygen delivery to the heart tissue. Chlorthalidone, a diuretic or water pill, helps reduce fluid retention and lower blood pressure by inhibiting salt reabsorption. Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, prevents blood vessel constriction and further decreases blood pressure.

It is important to take Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage will depend on your individual condition and response to the medication. It is recommended to take the tablet with food at the same time each day to maximize its benefits. Remember to continue taking the medicine until your doctor advises otherwise. Since Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet contains a diuretic, it is advisable not to take it within four hours of bedtime to avoid increased urination during sleep.

Common side effects of Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet may include ankle swelling, headache, dizziness, tiredness, and changes in taste. If any of these side effects become bothersome or persistent, consult your doctor. It is essential to stay hydrated while taking this medication to manage potential side effects like muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst.

Before starting Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet, inform your doctor about any existing liver or kidney issues. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should seek medical advice before using this medication. Additionally, disclose all other medications you are taking, particularly those prescribed for hypertension or heart conditions. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, electrolyte levels, and blood sugar levels is recommended to ensure the effectiveness of Tritelsar 80 HS Tablet in managing hypertension.
