About Ronflox Forte 100mg/5ml Suspension

Ronflox Forte 100mg/5ml Suspension is an antibiotic medicine mainly prescribed for children to combat a variety of bacterial infections affecting different parts of the body such as the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. It is also a crucial component of the treatment regimen for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB).

When administering Ronflox Forte 100mg/5ml Suspension to your child, it is important to give it orally at a consistent time every day, either before or after meals. If your child experiences stomach upset, providing the medication with meals is recommended. The dosage and duration of the treatment should be strictly followed as prescribed by the doctor, taking into consideration the type and severity of the infection, your child’s age, and weight. If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes of intake, the same dose can be repeated, but do not double the dose if the next scheduled dose is near.

Although minor and temporary side effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, rash, and headache may occur after taking this medication, these usually diminish as the child's body adjusts to the medicine. If these effects persist or become troublesome, prompt consultation with the doctor is advised.

When discussing your child’s medical history with the doctor, it is crucial to provide comprehensive information, including any past incidents of allergies, heart issues, liver complications, or kidney dysfunction. This information is essential for determining appropriate dosage adjustments and formulating a comprehensive treatment plan for your child.
