About Moxishan Tablet
Moxishan Tablet, known as Moxishan 400 Tab 5'S, falls under the antibiotic category and is mainly used in treating bacterial infections. Bacterial infections occur when harmful bacteria invade the body, causing various types of infections in different body parts such as the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin, soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia). This tablet is effective in combating these infections by halting the growth of the microorganisms responsible for the infection.
When taking Moxishan Tablet, it is essential to follow the dosage and time schedule prescribed by your healthcare provider. It is recommended to consume the tablet with or without food, preferably at the same time daily. To ensure effective treatment, it is crucial not to miss any doses and complete the full course of medication even if symptoms improve. If a dose is skipped, do not double the dose; just take the next one as per the plan.
Common side effects of Moxishan Tablet may include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and increased transaminases. These side effects are usually temporary and subside on their own. However, if these effects persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor promptly. Diarrhea may also occur but typically stops when the treatment course ends. If diarrhea continues or blood appears in stools, notify your doctor immediately.
It is important to note that individuals allergic to any components of Moxishan Tablet should not take this medication. Special caution is advised for individuals with kidney issues while using this medicine. It contains Moxifloxacin, a bactericidal agent that eliminates bacteria by interrupting their ability to replicate genetic material. This action leads to the death of the bacteria, preventing further reproduction and spread of infection.
Consult your doctor if you have lung conditions, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), sleep disorders, severe liver problems, or issues with alcohol or other recreational drugs. Furthermore, inform your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Driving under the influence of Moxishan Tablet may cause dizziness, so operate vehicles only when fully alert. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication to prevent increased dizziness.
