About Moxigram Tablet

Moxigram Tablet, containing Moxifloxacin, is classified as an antibiotic medication specifically designed to combat bacterial infections. This versatile drug is frequently utilized to target a variety of infections, including those affecting the urinary tract, respiratory system (nose, throat, and lungs), skin, and soft tissues like muscles and tendons, effectively halting the growth of the harmful microorganisms responsible for causing the infections.

It is crucial to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and duration of treatment that your doctor recommends for Moxigram Tablet. The tablet can be ingested with or without food, ideally at a consistent time each day. You must complete the entire course of treatment, even if symptoms improve before the course ends. It is advised not to compensate for a missed dose by doubling up on the next dose; simply resume the medication as scheduled.

While generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience temporary side effects such as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and elevated transaminases. If these side effects become bothersome or persist, it is advisable to consult your healthcare provider for guidance. Although diarrhea may occur as a side effect, it is expected to cease upon completion of the treatment. Immediate medical attention should be sought if diarrhea persists or if blood is detected in stools.

Prior to taking Moxigram Tablet, it is imperative to disclose any allergies to its components and inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, as special precautions are essential in such situations. Additionally, patients with liver and heart conditions are advised against using MOXIGRAM 400MG TABLET. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before commencing treatment with Moxigram Tablet.

Patients with myasthenia gravis, diabetes, epilepsy, or mental disorders should inform their healthcare provider before initiating treatment with MOXIGRAM 400MG TABLET. It is important to note that this medication is not intended for use in individuals under 18 years of age and must be approached cautiously in elderly patients with renal impairment. If common side effects such as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain persist, consult your healthcare provider promptly for further evaluation and guidance.
