About Luprorin 3.75mg Injection

Luprorin 3.75mg Injection is a medication used in the treatment of various conditions including prostate cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and central precocious puberty. It contains Leuprolide which belongs to a group of medicines called Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) agonists. This drug is given as an injection under the skin by a qualified medical professional, and the dosage and frequency will be determined by your doctor based on your condition.

For the treatment of endometriosis, Luprorin 3.75mg Injection helps manage the symptoms of this chronic disease where tissue similar to the uterus lining grows outside the uterus, causing pain and infertility. Symptoms of endometriosis may include pain during periods, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, painful urination, fatigue, depression, bloating, and nausea. Luprorin works by relieving pain and reducing endometriotic lesions.

Before receiving Luprorin 3.75mg Injection, it is important to inform your doctor about any allergies to Leuprolide, Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH), or similar analogs. Additionally, inform your healthcare provider if you have liver or kidney impairment, undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic alcohol or tobacco use, a strong family history of osteoporosis, or if you are on chronic medication.

Common side effects of Luprorin 3.75mg Injection include hot flashes and sweating, general pain, headache, gastrointestinal issues, water retention-related swelling, nausea, vomiting, reduced libido, and dizziness. If any of these side effects worsen, it is recommended to consult your doctor.

It is important to note that Luprorin 3.75mg Injection is not recommended for use in pregnant women and should be used with caution in breastfeeding women only if considered necessary. It is also not advised for premenarcheal children and postmenopausal women. Effective contraception is essential for both males and females during treatment to avoid pregnancy risks.
