About Lamriga 100mg Tablet DT

Lamriga 100mg Tablet DT is an anti-epileptic medication used for treating epilepsy and bipolar disorder. It helps by blocking the signals in the brain that cause epileptic seizures and also works to prevent extreme mood swings associated with bipolar disorder. This medicine can be taken alone or in combination with other medications as prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, and the dosage will be determined by your doctor, gradually increasing until your condition stabilizes. Even if you start feeling better, it is important to continue taking the medication as stopping abruptly might lead to more seizures or worsening of bipolar disorder symptoms.

Common side effects of Lamriga 100mg Tablet DT include skin rashes, headache, nausea, vomiting, difficulty sleeping, and dizziness. These side effects usually diminish over time, but if they persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor. It is crucial to inform your healthcare provider if you develop a skin rash or notice peeling of the skin. Long-term use of this medication may lead to osteoporosis, increasing the risk of bone fractures.

Before starting Lamriga 100mg Tablet DT, inform your doctor about any kidney or liver issues, history of depression, suicidal thoughts, or if you are taking other medications including contraceptive pills. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medicine cautiously, and it is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
