About Gen-D3 Sachet
Gen-D3 Sachet, also known as Gen D3 Sachet 1's, contains cholecalciferol, which is a form of Vitamin D3 crucial for the body's growth and development. Vitamin D3 is produced in the body when exposed to sunlight and plays a vital role in various essential functions. The sachet consists of granules of cholecalciferol and each sachet weighs approximately one gram, containing 60,000 international units of the vitamin.
One of the primary purposes of Gen-D3 Sachet is to address low blood calcium levels. It effectively treats conditions such as Vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis (weakening of bones), hypoparathyroidism (low calcium levels in the body due to parathyroid gland issues), latent tetany (muscle disease linked to low blood calcium levels), and rickets or osteomalacia (bone softening or deformation due to calcium deficiency).
Cholecalciferol in Gen-D3 Sachet acts by enhancing the absorption of calcium, phosphates, and Vitamin A from various organs, contributing to overall health maintenance. It is essential to follow the directions for use provided with the sachet - tear open the sachet, pour the powder into a glass, add water, and consume the mixture. It is advisable to use Gen-D3 Sachet under medical supervision to ensure safe and effective usage.
Although generally safe to consume, Gen-D3 Sachet may cause side effects such as constipation, increased blood calcium levels, increased calcium levels in urine, vomiting, and nausea. These side effects are usually mild and temporary, resolving on their own. However, if they persist or worsen, consulting a physician is recommended.
Individuals allergic to Gen-D3 Sachet should inform their healthcare provider before use. Special caution is advised for individuals with diabetes and phenylketonuria due to sugar or aspartame content in chewable or dissolving tablets. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before taking Gen-D3 Sachet, as higher doses may be recommended only under medical guidance. It is safe for children under pediatrician's recommendation but should be used cautiously in conditions like hypercalcemia, renal impairment, heart diseases, kidney stones, and hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D levels).
