About Esipram 20mg Tablet

Esipram 20mg Tablet is commonly prescribed to manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. As a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), it works by enhancing mood and alleviating feelings of anxiety and tension. It can be consumed with or without food, and the appropriate dosage will be determined by your doctor based on symptom control needs. Your doctor may start you on a lower dose and adjust it gradually. It is important not to alter the dose or cease taking the medication without consulting your doctor, as this could exacerbate your condition or result in unpleasant withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, restlessness, palpitations, and sleep disturbances.

For optimal results, it is recommended to take Esipram 20mg Tablet consistently at the same time each day. Your doctor may suggest taking it in the morning if sleeping proves challenging. It may take a few weeks before you notice an improvement in your symptoms, so it is essential to communicate any lack of progress to your doctor after four weeks. Some common side effects of this medication include nausea, fatigue, increased sweating, insomnia, decreased sexual drive, delayed ejaculation, and potential difficulties for women in achieving orgasm. Sleepiness might also occur after taking the medicine, and it is critical to inform your doctor immediately if you experience a sudden deterioration in mood or any thoughts of self-harm.

Prior to starting Esipram 20mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have epilepsy, diabetes, liver or kidney issues, heart conditions, or are currently on medications for depression such as MAO inhibitors, as these factors can affect your treatment plan. Make sure to disclose all medications you are taking to ensure safety and efficacy during your treatment journey.
