About Diclotal Plus 1% Gel
Introducing Diclotal Plus 1% Gel, a medication designed to alleviate pain and reduce swelling in joints and muscles. Whether you're dealing with sprains, strains, bruises, tendonitis like tennis elbow, or osteoarthritis, this gel has you covered. By gently applying it 2 to 4 times a day to the affected area, you can manage your condition effectively. Remember not to overuse it and avoid covering the treated area with bandages or plasters.
Diclotal Plus 1% Gel features Diclofenac, a Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) known for its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. Suitable for treating various muscle and joint injuries, tendonitis, and osteoarthritis, this gel offers relief for conditions such as backache, sports injuries, and swelling around joints post-trauma. If you're using it for arthritis, keep your doctor in the loop and monitor your progress closely.
While Diclotal Plus 1% Gel is generally safe, some users may experience mild side effects like skin rash, itching, or reddening of the skin. In rare cases, a rash with blistering could indicate a severe allergic reaction. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or already taking diclofenac tablets, it's best to steer clear of this gel. Additionally, individuals with kidney failure, recent severe joint pain, fever, or certain illnesses should avoid using it without consulting their doctor.
It's important to note that Diclotal Plus 1% Gel isn't recommended for children under 14 years of age or for pregnant women in their last trimester. Before using this gel, inform your healthcare provider about any existing stomach or bowel ulcers, asthma, liver or kidney issues, or bleeding problems. Lastly, be cautious when exposed to sunlight while using the gel as your skin may become more sensitive. If you experience any worsening symptoms, contact your doctor promptly.
