About Benibuz-Forte Tablet

Benibuz-Forte Tablet is a combination medicine primarily used to treat hypertension, also known as high blood pressure. Hypertension is a medical condition where the force of the blood against the artery walls is consistently high, potentially leading to serious damage to vital organs such as the heart, kidneys, or brain, and increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, or blindness.

The tablet contains Benidipine, a Calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing the blood vessels, improving blood flow, and enhancing oxygen supply to the heart. This action reduces the pressure on the heart and aids in efficient blood circulation throughout the body. In addition to hypertension, Benibuz-Forte Tablet can also be used to manage renal parenchymal hypertension, which is high blood pressure related to kidney issues, as well as angina pectoris, a type of severe chest pain associated with heart conditions.

It is essential to take Benibuz-Forte Tablet as prescribed by your doctor, typically at the same time each day. The dose will be determined based on your individual condition and response to the medication. It is crucial to continue this treatment regimen until advised otherwise by your healthcare provider as abrupt discontinuation may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.

While taking Benibuz-Forte Tablet, some common side effects may occur, including nausea, taste changes, upset stomach, diarrhea, headache, decreased blood pressure, weakness, numbness in extremities, and flushing of the skin. If you experience any of these side effects, consult your doctor to address any concerns. Additionally, ankle or foot swelling may be managed by elevating your legs while seated and staying well hydrated to combat muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst.

Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have any existing liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should seek advice from their healthcare provider before taking Benibuz-Forte Tablet. It is crucial to disclose all other medications you are currently taking, especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, electrolyte levels, and blood sugar is recommended to ensure the medication is effectively managing your condition.
