It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of heart's left ventricular failure accompanying heart attack, high blood pressure during cardiac surgery , chest pain associated with restricted blood supply. It has some side effects such as Drowsiness,Allergic skin rashes,Dizziness,Feeling weak. The salts Glyceryl Trinitrate are involved in the preparation of Nitrocin Lingual Spray.
