It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of cesarean section , blood loss following childbirth, absence of uterine contractions during labor. It has some side effects such as Deficiency in the amount of oxygen reaching the tissues,Brain and cns damage,Blood disorders,Decreased placental blood flow. The salts Oxytocin are involved in the preparation of L Tocin Injection.
