It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome , non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, maturity onset diabetes. It has some side effects such as Altered sense of taste includes metallic taste,Abnormalities of blood cells,Abdominal pain,Constipation. The salts Gliclazide, Metformin are involved in the preparation of Claformin Hs Tablet.
