Is it covered under insurance?

Is the treatment covered under insurance?

Health insurances cover the cost of pilonidal sinus treatment. The limit on claim amount depends on your policy. Cashless or reimbursement depends on your policy, TPA and affiliations of the hospital with the insurance company.

How is the recovery after surgery?

If the cut (incision) was closed with stitches, it will probably take about 4 weeks to completely heal. If your incision is left open, it may take from a few weeks to several months to heal. After the incision has healed, you will have a scar where the cyst was removed. After Laser surgery recovery is expected to be faster.
