Is it covered under insurance?

Is the treatment covered under insurance?

The Insurance plan varies from one company to another. Assuming that the Lipoma removal will be covered under insurance would be wrong. It is advised to talk to the insurance provider before going to hospital or clinic for Lipoma treatment.

How is the recovery after surgery?

For stitched wounds, the wound will take 10-14 days to heal. Procedures to remove lipomas are usually done under local anesthesia and patients go home the same day. Resection of lipomas frequently requires incisions equal to the diameter of the tumor.
