How to Diagnose? When to consult a doctor?
Complete blood work is generally required to diagnose Dengue. In this, the physician looks for the NS1 antigen, Immunoglobulin M, Immunoglobulin G, and they might also conduct the Dengue RNA PCR test to diagnose the nature of the occurrence and its severity. Warning signs include severe stomach pain, vomiting, difficulty breathing, or blood in your nose, gums, vomit or stools. Management and Treatment of the condition and complications if left untreated
There’s no medicine that treats dengue fever. Managing the symptoms is the only way to treat dengue fever. Follow the healthcare provider’s recommendations, which may include: Keeping yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water and fluids. Getting as much rest as possible. Treating pain with acetaminophen Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin. This can increase your risk of life-threatening internal bleeding.
