About Retisphere Cream
Retisphere Cream is a type of vitamin A that is utilized to address acne, which presents itself as spots or pimples on your face, chest, or back. Along with treating acne, it also aids in smoothing rough facial skin and diminishing fine wrinkles. The cream works by reducing excessive oil production of the skin, making it ideal for pinpoint application at nighttime as per your doctor's recommendation. The duration and amount of cream to be used will vary depending on the specific condition being treated. Prior to application, it is advisable to cleanse and dry the affected area, applying a thin layer of the cream as directed by your doctor. Avoid application on damaged or broken skin, as well as contact with the mouth, eyes, and nose. While improvement in symptoms may take several weeks, consistent usage is important for optimal results. If there is no noticeable improvement after a few weeks, consulting your doctor is recommended. Overusing the cream beyond the prescribed amount will not hasten results and may increase side effects. Common side effects include skin irritation, dryness, and redness, which tend to improve over time. Adequate water intake and use of moisturizer can help alleviate dryness in the mouth, lips, and eyes. Inform your doctor if side effects persist or become bothersome. Severe side effects associated with the cream are rare. It is important to note that the cream can increase sensitivity to sunlight, thus limiting sun exposure is advised. Avoid waxing or laser treatments while using the cream. Pregnant women or those planning to conceive should steer clear of this medication to prevent birth defects.
