It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of before surgery or certain bowel procedures such as colonoscopy, occasional constipation, radiography, severe electrolyte disturbances . It has some side effects such as Lack of tears,Dizziness,Mild stomach discomfort,Bloating. The salts Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate, Sodium Phosphate are involved in the preparation of Royal Enema.
