It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of accumulation of fluid in brain, acute chronic hepatitis , accelerate lung maturation and surfactant production in the fetus. It has some side effects such as Acne,Bones become brittle,Bruising,Abnormal heart rhythm. The salts Atropine, Hydrocortisone are involved in the preparation of Pino Cort S Drops.
