It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of blood loss following childbirth, absence of uterine contractions during labor, cesarean section . It has some side effects such as Blood disorders,Brain and cns damage,Decreased placental blood flow,Deficiency in the amount of oxygen reaching the tissues. The salts Oxytocin are involved in the preparation of Oxytocin IP Injection.
