It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of blood clots after surgery, or during blood transfusions, blood clotting disorders , during dialysis. It has some side effects such as Unusual bleeding,Nosebleed,Blood in urine or stools,Black or tarry stools. The salts Heparin Sodium are involved in the preparation of Oparin Injection.
