It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of or during blood transfusions, blood clots after surgery, blood clotting disorders , during dialysis. It has some side effects such as Blood in urine or stools,Black or tarry stools,Unusual bleeding,Nosebleed. The salts Heparin Sodium are involved in the preparation of Oparin Flush Injection.
