It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of bacterial infections by inflammation of the peritoneum, bacterial infections, eye and ear infection . It has some side effects such as Allergic skin reaction,Abdominal pain,Abnormal taste,Allergic rejection to an antigen. The salts Ofloxacin, Ornidazole are involved in the preparation of Obid Oz Tablet.
