It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of labor or radiological investigation, laxative and suppository , bowel clearance before surgery, constipation. It has some side effects such as Blood in stool,Abdominal cramps or pain,Diarrhea,Dehydration. The salts Bisacodyl are involved in the preparation of Dulcolax Rectal Suppository.
