From a Village to the World: My Journey of Strength & Resilience

I was born in Vallivedu, a small village in Andhra Pradesh. My father, a government bus driver, adored his three daughters. One Diwali, he left for his shift, promising to bring home crackers—but never returned. A sudden heart attack took him away forever.
Left alone with three daughters and no financial support, my mother had a choice—accept defeat or fight. She chose to fight.

At 13, I juggled cooking, fieldwork, and tutoring while studying late into the night. I dreamed of becoming a doctor, but financial struggles made that impossible. Society urged my mother to marry me off, but she refused. Instead, I pursued nursing, becoming a topper in my batch.

Starting as an ICU nurse, I witnessed both the fragility of life and the power of care. My passion led me beyond hospital walls—into clinical research and healthcare operations, where I could impact lives on a larger scale.

Marriage took me to Chicago, where I lived for 5.5 years. But life abroad wasn’t as perfect as it seemed. On a dependent visa, unable to work, I faced loneliness and lost purpose.
Motherhood brought new challenges—severe pregnancy complications, a breech baby, and giving birth during COVID-19 without family support. But when I held my son, Jeashwin, I found my greatest strength.

I realized happiness wasn’t in luxury—it was in purpose. So, I returned to India with my son and restarted my career. Joining MediBuddy was a turning point—helping thousands every day felt like coming back to life.
